I thought I'd share this with everyone.

This falls perfectly in line with the Philosophy of Moderation, where going too far either way, bleached/sterilized environments or dirty, black mold crusted housing are detrimental while good "clean" fun outside is beneficial.

An Introduction to the Philosophy

It is my belief that people are not meant to have overly strict limitations set on them, either by themselves or by society. Through observation and personal experience, it seems that the majority of people would be happier living life in the "middle of the road" as opposed to following an extreme viewpoint, be it diet, political, spiritual, or anything else we tend to get wrapped up in to the extent that we deny ourselves fundamental rights.

Throughout this discussion you will hear me talk about having "relief valves" you can set up for yourself. These are little get out of jail free cards that one can use sparingly when needed. If you find yourself going to the relief valve too often, you may need to change your lifestyle to something a little more relaxed or find a different way of reaching the goal you have setup for yourself.

Another idea I may touch on while speaking to the philosophy of moderation is "living in the now", there have been many, many, teachers throughout history that have explained and taught this idea and they are all better at it than I am, so I will direct you to Eckhart Tolle, Buddha, or even the New Testament when read with the right attitude.

An Introduction to this project

This project, in its initial realization, is going to be a sort of living book. I will attempt to write my thoughts on what I call my Philosophy of Moderation in a sort of book-ish format. Post labels will include "chapters" and chapters may be added to or edited as I attempt to put order to what has been floating around in my head for many years now.
One area of concern is the format of a blog, which puts newer posts above older ones. Things may change around as I attempt to bend the traditional blog into something more fitting for reading in chronological order. Until at some point in the unforeseeable future when this stream of thought gets enough regular viewers to pay for a "real" website we may all have to deal with reading bits of this thing "backwards", that is to say, starting at the bottom and reading upwards. I hope to have a solution for that sooner rather than later, but until that time comes please bear with me as I attempt to put to paper what I feel is a wonderful way of living, giving you the power to enjoy life at the same time that you control it, to do what is fun without losing sight of what is important. In short, see both the forest and the trees. Thank you for your time I hope to repay it with a better more fulfilling lifestyle.
